How we use your details
Last updated 12 September 2026
This page says what SynthesizedHuman collects when you use the Business Focus Check, the 26-Point Checklist and this site, what it is used for, who else handles it, and how to have it corrected or deleted. Plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, ask: hello@synthesizedhuman.com.
What we collect, and where
The Business Focus Check
- Your five or six answers — which area of your business you told us is holding it back.
- Your first name and email address, when you ask for the checklist.
- Optionally, your business name and website. The website is only used to prepare your free Market Snapshot.
- A mobile number, only if you choose to speak with a consultant and type one in, and whether you ticked the box allowing us to text you about that request. The box starts unticked.
- One line about what you would automate, only if you request access and choose to write it.
The 26-Point Checklist audit
If you sign in and rate your business, your ratings are stored against your account and are private to you. They are never sent to a salesperson, never shown to anyone else, and not used to build a picture of businesses in general. Choosing a next step on your results page opens your own email program; nothing is sent until you send it.
A practitioner-run audit
A consultant with a 26-Point practice can run the checklist with a client and keep the result as the practice’s own record of that session, together with the client details the practice chooses to note (business name, industry, size, a contact). That record belongs to the practice and is visible to the people in it. It is separate from any audit the client fills in for themselves, which stays private to them exactly as above. A client’s contact details held by a practice never reach our sales queues. To have a practice’s record of you corrected or deleted, ask the practice, or write to us and we will pass it on.
How the pages are used
We measure which screens and pages are reached and how far people scroll, so we can see where the funnel loses people. This is anonymous and first-party: there are no cookies, no advertising pixels and no third-party analytics. The only identifier is a random one that lives in your browser tab and is gone when you close it. Your ratings, name and address are never part of these measurements — there is no field that could carry them.
What it is used for
- To send you the checklist — one email with your Focus Check result and the complete 26-Point Checklist. You are not added to a mailing list. The newsletter on our home page is separate and asks for its own confirmation.
- To prepare your free Market Snapshot, if you gave a website: we read your public home page once. Where configured, we also run a public web search for industry and competitor context, which may include your business name and website — never your name, email or phone number.
- To follow up when you asked us to. If you chose to explore automation, speak with a consultant, or request access, our team is told, with what you typed, so a person can act on it.
- To text you about a consultant conversation, only if you ticked the box. Reply STOP to any text and we stop.
- To tell our founder that a check was completed, by email and by text, so real requests are not missed.
Who else handles it
We do not sell your details and we do not share them with advertising networks. The services that process them on our behalf are:
- Amazon Web Services (United States) — hosts our systems, stores what you gave us, and sends our emails and texts.
- Vercel — serves these pages.
- Perplexity — the public web search behind the Market Snapshot's industry context, when it is enabled. It receives a search query, which may include your business name and website; it never receives your name, email address or phone number.
How long we keep it
Focus Check details are kept for as long as they are useful for following up, and deleted when you ask. Audit ratings are kept while your account exists. Anonymous usage measurements expire after 400 days.
Your choices
- See, correct or delete anything we hold about you: email hello@synthesizedhuman.com from the address you used and we will do it promptly.
- Stop texts: reply STOP to any message.
- Stop newsletter emails: every one carries an unsubscribe link.
Changes
If what we collect or do with it changes, this page changes first, with a new date at the top.
